Twitter (X) ordered to pay Rs 5 crore compensation to former employee fired for not replying to Elon Musk's mail

Rooney, who was terminated in December 2022 following Elon Musk's acquisition, faced an ultimatum to accept new work conditions. The Irish Workplace Relations Commission ruled his firing unfair, leading to the unprecedented compensation award.
