Girish Mathrubootham steps down as executive chairman of Freshworks; to focus on his VC firm Together Fund

Girish Mathrubootham, founder of Freshworks, will step down as executive chairman in December 2025, after retiring as CEO in May 2024. Roxanne Austin will succeed him as chairperson. Mathrubootham, who led Freshworks to a Nasdaq listing, will now focus on his AI venture fund, Together Fund, aiming to foster India's product innovation in the AI era.
